2022 Home Opener Set for Saturday, March 12

MIAMI - The USL Championship announced on Thursday all home openers of the 2022 campaign, with Miami FC set to kick off the season against New York Red Bulls II at FIU Stadium on Saturday, March 12.

This will be the club's first match of the season, giving fans their first glimpse of Head Coach Anthony Pulis' new Miami FC. While the club has plenty of returning faces, there are several new additions that will surely provide excitement for all fans!

The USL Championship will open the 2022 season with a full slate of 13 games on the opening weekend of the campaign, and 23 of the 27 clubs will play their first home match within the first two weeks of the regular season, as the league opens its 12thseason on Saturday, March 12.

The full 2022 USL Championship schedule will be announced next Wednesday, Jan. 12, with the 459-game regular season set to conclude on the weekend of October 14-16 ahead of the 2022 USL Championship Playoffs.
