Guelph Storm News Release

We are excited to announce that on Saturday, October 9th the Guelph Storm will be back in action. Facing off against one of our biggest rivals, the Kitchener Rangers, it's sure to be a high-energy and memorable game. As a team, we couldn't be happier to get things rolling again as the 2021-22 season marks the Guelph Storm Hockey Club's 30th anniversary.

Season Home Opener Countdown: 103 days

The Ontario Hockey League was suspended over 470 days ago due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Players were barred from the ice and returned home unsure of what the future held. After a handful of attempts from the provincial government and the OHL to implement a Return To Play plan, players and fans were kept apart and left broken hearted after learning in April that the 2020-21 season was officially cancelled.
