2018 RubberDucks EL Playoff Tickets on Sale Now

(Akron, Ohio) - The Akron RubberDucks announced tickets are now on sale for the 2018 Eastern League Playoffs. Fans can purchase tickets for the for the best-of-five, first-round Eastern League Division Series online at www.akronrubberducks.com or at the Canal Park Box Office for the same price as RubberDucks' regular-season games.
RubberDucks' Eastern League Playoff games are presented by KeyBank. All playoff games at Canal Park will include one of the team's famous themed post-game fireworks shows, and tickets will remain at the regular-season prices, starting as low as $5, with advance purchase. The games also include the unique promotions and in-game contests that have made RubberDucks baseball Northeast Ohio's home for affordable, family fun.
"We are thrilled to be in position to make the Eastern League Playoffs as the final month of the regular season winds down," said RubberDucks General Manager Jim Pfander. "Our fans are the best in baseball and we hope they will pack Canal Park for a RubberDucks' title run!"
With 27 remaining regular-season games, the RubberDucks are in first place in the Eastern League's Western Division, leading the 2nd-place Altoona Curve by five games and the 3rd-place Harrisburg Senators by eight games. The top two teams in each division qualify for the playoffs. The Eastern League Division Series starts with Games 1 & 2 on Sept. 5 & 6 at the 2nd-place team's home stadium. The series continues at the 1st-place team for Games 3 through 5 on Sept. 7-9. Monday through Saturday home playoff games will be scheduled for 6:35 p.m. and Sunday games would be at 6:05 p.m.
Tickets start at $5 and fans can purchase tickets at the box office at Canal Park. The Box Office is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. On gamedays, it is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. through the end of the game, and Sundays it opens at 11 a.m. through game's end. Game 1: Sept. 5 - 1st place at 2nd place, 6:35 p.m.
Game 2: Sept. 6 - 1st place at 2nd place, 6:35 p.m.
Game 3: Sept. 7 - 2nd place at 1st place, 6:35 p.m.
Game 4: Sept. 8 - 2nd place at 1st place (if necessary), 6:35 p.m.
Game 5: Sept. 9 - 2nd place at 1st place (if necessary), 6:05 p.m.
Eastern League Championship Series (Best-of-Five)
Game 1: Sept. 11 - Eastern Division Champion at RubberDucks, 6:35 p.m. (post-game fireworks)
Game 2: Sept. 12 - Eastern Division Champion at RubberDucks, 6:35 p.m. (post-game fireworks)
Game 3: Sept. 13 - RubberDucks at Eastern Division Champion
Game 4: Sept. 14 - RubberDucks at Eastern Division Champion (if necessary)
Game 5: Sept. 15 - RubberDucks at Eastern Division Champion (if necessary)
Unused playoff ticket credit will be applied to 2019 season tickets, mini plans, group or individual tickets. However, unused 2018 regular-season tickets, 2018 flex-plan tickets, and 2018 donation vouchers are not exchangeable.
