Phoenix, Ariz. - The Arizona Rattlers (4-1) will face the Sioux Falls Storm (4-1) on Saturday, April 14, in their second road game of the season. The winner of this game will take sole possession of first place in the Indoor Football League (IFL).

The Rattlers defeated the Storm in their first game of the 2018 season, 39-33. Arizona's defense held the Storm to 189 yards, their lowest offensive output so far this year. Defensive end Joshua Gordon forced a fumble with 40 seconds left resulting in the game-winning safety. The defense only allowed six points in the second half and a scoreless third quarter.

Arizona is coming out of the bye week riding a three-game win streak. In their last game, the Rattlers defeated the Cedar Rapids Titans (1-5) by a score of 54-19. Quarterback Jeff Ziemba had his best game of the year, completing 16-of- 22 producing 172 yards and seven touchdowns with zero interceptions. The Rattlers defense had another strong showing, this time holding the Cedar Rapids offense to 200 yards and under 40 points, something they've done in four of their five games.

Sioux Falls is coming off of a 45-37 win against the Nebraska Danger (4-2) on Saturday. Storm quarterback Lorenzo Brown went 7-13 for 125 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for 38 yards. Running back Lyle McCombs rushed for 37 yards and one touchdown.

This match-up will feature two of the best defenses in the IFL, with the Storm leading the league allowing 192.2 yards per game. The Rattlers are ranked third in the league allowing 209.6 yards per game.

The game will also feature a Rattlers scoring defense that leads the IFL, allowing 34 points per game. They will face a Sioux Falls offense that averages 47.8 points per game which ranks first in the league. The Rattlers are led by defensive backs Arkeith Brown and Nathan Lindsey who have 26 tackles and 25 respectively.

Sioux Falls defensive line has five sacks on the year while the Rattlers lead the IFL in pass protection, allowing three sacks this season.

Offensively for Arizona, QB Jeff Ziemba has seen some recent success in the passing game. Ziemba is ranked second in the league with 15 passing touchdowns while averaging 120.6 passing yards per game. In his past two games, Ziemba has thrown ten touchdowns with zero interceptions.

Sioux Falls offense is led by QB Lorenzo Brown who is averaging 140.4 passing yards per game, putting him second in the league. Brown also averages 42.2 yards per game on the ground, ranking him second overall. The Storm also rely on running back Lyle McCombs who has six rushing touchdowns which puts him second in the IFL.
