(Central Islip, N.Y., April 21, 2015) - The Long Island Ducks today announced the dates for their annual youth camps & clinics, presented by Stop & Shop, at Bethpage Ballpark this summer. The clinics are open to children ages seven to 14 of all abilities, and interested parties are encouraged to sign up early due to limited availability. Sign up forms are available by CLICKING HERE or by calling (631) 940-3825 ext. 102.
"Our clinics provide aspiring young ballplayers with an everlasting memory," says Ducks President/GM Michael Pfaff. "Learning from Ducks players and coaches on the playing field at Bethpage Ballpark is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that shouldn't be missed."
New for 2015, Ducks Kids Clinics have now been extended to THREE DAYS! The first session will take place from Thursday, July 30 through Saturday, August 1 while session two will run from Thursday, August 13 to Saturday, August 15. Each camp day runs from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and campers should arrive no later than 8:45 a.m. each day.
Campers will receive three days of instruction, lunch each day of the camp and an official Long Island Ducks hat and t-shirt combo. At the conclusion of the third clinic day, there will be a game played by campers on the field at Bethpage Ballpark. Just bring your glove and a bat and be ready to play, rain or shine!
