2013 Minnesota Wild Training Camp Begins September 12

Saint Paul, MN - Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher on Monday announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club will open its 2013 training camp presented by Andersen Windows on Thursday, Sept. 12 at 9:30 a.m. at Ridder Arena. The Wild will use Xcel Energy Center for training camp starting on Friday, Sept. 13.

Minnesota's training camp will be open to the public on Saturday, Sept. 14 and Sunday, Sept. 15 at Xcel Energy Center. Fans can watch the team's practice sessions on Sept. 14 that begin at 9:30 a.m. Gate 1 will open at 9:30 a.m. On Sunday, Sept. 15 the Wild will hold a Team Green vs. Team White scrimmage starting at 11 a.m. Gate 1 will open at 10:45 a.m.

Minnesota also announced its training camp roster and schedule. The Wild's training camp roster currently consists of 36 players, with possible additions coming from players currently participating in the 2013 NHL Prospect Tournament in Traverse City, Mich. Player medical examinations and fitness testing will take place on Sept. 11 followed by the start of training camp on Sept. 12.

Regular season Minnesota Wild regular season single-game tickets will go on sale Saturday, Sept. 14 at 9 a.m. at the Xcel Energy Center Box Office (175 West Kellogg Boulevard) and at 12 p.m. on the Wild web site ( www.wild.com ), and all Ticketmaster ( www.ticketmaster.com ) locations or by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000 . Minnesota hosts the Los Angeles Kings in the regular-season opener on Thursday, Oct. 3, at 7 p.m. at Xcel Energy Center.
