The Chicago Wolves announced Monday that they have signed right wing SHANE HARPER.
HARPER recorded 10 points (5G, 5A) and 35 points in 48 American Hockey League games with the Adirondack Phantoms last season. He also skated in 15 ECHL contests with the Trenton Titans, where he registered 14 goals, 13 assists, and 27 points.
Overall, the 24-year-old forward accumulated 20 goals, 21 assists, and 41 points in 143 career AHL outings with Adirondack from 2009-13. He also collected 36 markers and 72 points in 63 career ECHL tilts with Greenville (2010-11) and Trenton (2012-13).
Prior to turning pro, the Valencia, Calif., native spent five seasons with the Western Hockey League's Everett Silvertips, where he amassed 100 goals, 114 assists, and 214 points in 335 career games from 2005-10.
In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The Wolves will open their 20th season in Texas when they battle the San Antonio Rampage at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, at the AT&T Center. The club will also face the Rampage for the team's home opener, presented by LifeSource, at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, at the Allstate Arena.
