
2012 Baseball Camp Dates Announced

DANVILLE, Va. - The Danville Braves are bringing their popular Baseball Camps back to the line-up for 2012. The clinics will begin on Tuesday, July 31 and end on Thursday, August 2. The D-Braves will host this year's event on the playing field at American Legion Post 325 Field in Dan Daniel Memorial Park.
Each session will start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 12:30 p.m. Girls and boys, ages 6 to 12, are welcome to participate. Bats and balls will be provided for, but campers must bring their own mitt labeled with their name. Recommended attire for each day is baseball pants, cleats/tennis shoes, and t-shirt. Campers wearing open-toed shoes (i.e., flip-flops, sandals, etc.) will not be allowed to participate.
All campers will receive an official D-Braves' Baseball Camp T-shirt, 2 Free Tickets to the August 2nd Game, and an on-field recognition prior to the August 2nd game. Additionally, lunch will be provided for at the end of each camp day.
The cost is $75.00 per camper and includes professional instruction from D-Braves field staff on pitching, hitting, and fielding fundamentals. The camp is structured for short activity field drills in a pressure-free environment. Registrants must include the 2012 Camp Registration and Waiver Forms located on the D-Braves Web site, along with their method of payment, to be officially registered for the camp.
