2010 Playoff Tickets Available Monday

(Bridgeport, Conn. - August 20, 2010) - With the team poised to qualify for the Atlantic League postseason for the first time since 2006 and just the second time in the past eight seasons, The Bridgeport Bluefish today announced that tickets for all potential 2010 playoff games will go on sale Monday, August 23 at 10:00 a.m. at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard. Fans can also call (203) 345-4800 or log on to www.bridgeportbluefish.com and click the tickets icon.
"The progress that the on-field team has made in the second year of our operation mirrors the off-field team's progress and it is very gratifying," said Principal Owner/CEO Frank Boulton. "Now we need the Southern Connecticut region to rally around their team and cheer them on to a championship."
Fans can purchase a playoff voucher which will grant entry at up to all four potential home games in the seating area of their choice for just $20. If the Bluefish play two home playoff games, then fans have received full value for their voucher. However, if the 'Fish play just one home playoff contest, vouchers may be redeemed for two FREE tickets to any game during the team's 2011 opening homestand.
"We're confident this outstanding value will help pack the park for Willie Upshaw and the Bluefish as we try to win our first Atlantic League championship since 1999," says general manager Bob Goughan. "We're looking forward to seeing everyone on Monday."

(Game 3) - Friday, Sept. 24 @ 7:05 p.m.
(Game 4) - Saturday, Sept. 25 @ 7:05 p.m. (if necessary)
Championship Series
(Game 3) - Friday, October 1 @ 7:05 p.m.
(Game 4) - Saturday, October 2 @ 7:05 p.m. (if necessary)
