2010 Connecticut Tigers -Have a Blast at Dodd Stadium This Weekend

NORWICH-The Connecticut Tigers return to Dodd Stadium this Friday, August 13 when they open a three-game series with the Auburn Doubledays, the New York-Penn League affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays at 7:05 p.m. With fireworks, sleepovers, Halloween and dogs, there is plenty of fun to be had at the ballpark this weekend!
The fun begins on Friday, August 13 at 7:05 p.m. It's Halloween Night at Dodd Stadium with fans encouraged to come to the ballpark dressed up. Prizes will be awarded to the best costume! After the game, it's another Friday Night Fireworks Show presented by Xtra Mart Convenience Stores and Atlas PyroVision.
On Saturday, August 14 at 7:05 p.m. the Tigers continue a Dodd Stadium tradition with the Boy Scout Sleepover. For one low price, scout troops get to watch the game and sleep in a tent on the field at Dodd Stadium while watching a movie on the video board. There is limited space available and the Tigers ask that you call Director of Community Relations and Promotions Dave Schermerhorn at 860-887-7962 ext 118 to reserve your space as soon as possible.
The home stand concludes on Sunday afternoon at 1:05 p.m. It's another Sunday Funday with a post-game catch on the field and kids running the bases sponsored by Dick's Sporting Goods and Michael's Dairy. The Tigers will turn Dodd Stadium over to the dogs on Sunday with Bark in the Park! Fans can enjoy the game with their dogs on Sunday.
