
2005 Alouettes Classic tonight

Montreal, Apr. 29, 2005 - More than 100 student athletes will be at Concordia Stadium in the heart of Montreal tonight for the 20th edition of the Alouettes Classic (formerly the Alouettes Bowl), presented by GOT Corporation at 7 p.m.
The biggest high school football league in Quebec, the Ligue métropolitaine scolaire has 20 member schools with more than 720 players in all. The students chosen to play in the Alouettes Classic come from 16 regions all over the Montreal Metropolitan Region including the city itself.
Several Alouettes will be on hand as well, including Luke Fritz, former Alouette Pierre Vercheval and the Alouettes' President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Larry Smith. They will sign autographs for fans while cheering on all of the players.
The Alouettes are proud to be involved in the local community and are behind all of the student athletes who will represent their schools at the 20th annual Alouettes Classic.
Concordia Stadium is located at 7200 Sherbrooke St. W, corner Sherbrooke and West Broadway; admission is free.
