DENVER - February 3, 2009 - The Colorado 14ers announced today that forward Kentrell Gransberry has been added to the roster. Colorado released forward Damien Lolar to make room on the roster for Gransberry, who will make his 14ers debut tomorrow night against the Austin Toros at the Broomfield Event Center.
The 6-9 forward joins the 14ers after playing with the Detroit Pistons NBA Summer League team in 2008, and opening the season in the French pro league before moving on to Germany. The rookie was a 1st Team All Big East Selection in 2008, averaging 16.0 points, 10.8 rebounds, and shooting 51.8% from the field in 30 games for South Florida.
