ELMIRA, N.Y. - The Elmira Jackals, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the AHL's Rochester Americans, proudly celebrating our 10th season in the ECHL, announced additional details for this weekend's pair of home games against the Reading Royals, which includes 10th anniversary celebrations .
To commemorate 10 seasons in the ECHL, the Jackals will wear unique 10th Anniversary jerseys presented by Visions FCU during both their Friday and Saturday night games.
Friday night, the Jackals host the Royals at 7:05 p.m. at First Arena for Chemung County Youth Bureau Night. The Chemung County Youth Bureau will have a special giveaway for the first 500 fans in attendance. It is also a Frosty Friday, courtesy of Wendy's. The game is the second home contest of the DeMet's Candy Cup challenge, the yearlong competition between the Jackals and Royals.
Saturday is 10th Anniversary Night at First Arena as the Jackals celebrate their 10th season in the ECHL. Select 10th anniversary jerseys will be auctioned live immediately after the game. It's also the second trading card giveaway night, presented by Multimedia. It is the third DeMet's Candy Cup Challenge match at First Arena in 2016-17.
As part of the Jackals 10th Anniversary season, all end zone tickets for home games in January are just $10.
