Quad City Mallards News Release

MOLINE, Ill. - The special edition twentieth season mash-up jerseys the Quad City Mallards will wear during their game Saturday night at 7:05 p.m. against the Fort Wayne Komets at the iWireless Center will go up for bid in a live auction to benefit the Genesis Health Services Foundation immediately after that game.

The Mallards will continue their season-long celebration of this milestone campaign Saturday night by wearing unique burgundy sweaters that feature the team's original 1995 color scheme and jersey pattern combined with the current Mallard logo. Over the last two decades, Mallards jersey auctions have raised over $800,000 to benefit Genesis Health System charities.

Saturday night's jersey auction caps off the Mallards' alumni weekend, which will also feature an alumni game Saturday afternoon at 4:30. In honor of the Mallards' longstanding partnership with Genesis Health System, the club has teamed with Genesis to open the entire iWireless Center upper bowl Saturday for both the alumni game and the current Mallards' meeting with Fort Wayne.

Saturday's auction is the first of two Genesis jersey auctions the Mallards will host this season. Fans will also have the chance to bid on the one-of-a-kind jerseys off the Mallards' backs after the Flock's Saturday, March 18 game against the Missouri Mavericks.

Tickets for Saturday night's game- and all Mallards regular season home games- are on sale now. Tickets for Saturday night's game between the Mallards and Komets are also good for Saturday afternoon's alumni game. Tickets are available at the iWireless Center box office, Ticketmaster outlets, ticketmaster.com and Ticketmaster charge-by-phone toll free at 1-800-745-3000 . The box office is open weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
