May 4, 2026 - Omaha Lancers forward Tanner Morgan has announced his commitment to play college hockey at Army, a Division-I Atlantic Hockey America conference team.
Morgan, 19, just finished his second season with the Lancers and skated in all but three games this past campaign. In 59 contests he recorded 31 points (9+22) after previously recording 14 points (9+5) in 51 games in 2024-25. April 15, 2026 - Former Omaha Lancer Hunter McDonald skated in his first NHL game Tuesday night and picked up an assist in the Philadelphia Flyers' 4-2 win over the Montreal Canadiens.
McDonald earned the game's third star by recording an assist on the Flyers' second goal of the night. His teammate and fellow former Lancer, Alex Bump, scored Philadelphia's final goal.

April 14, 2026 - The Omaha Lancers announced Friday that they have signed Jimmy Dodig to a tender agreement for the 2026-27 season.
Dodig, 19, recorded 23 points (10+13) over 56 games with the Bismarck Bobcats in the 2025-26 North American Hockey League regular season. He is a 6-foot-6 defenseman who weighs 210 pounds and scored the second-most goals among Bismarck defensemen.

Lefty Markonidis recorded a hat trick in his final game as a Lancer with a pair of tallies in an action-packed second period and then the eventual game-winner in the third.
