Lancers Respond against the Caps

September 20, 2026 - The Omaha Lancers ended the Fall Classic on a high note after defeating the Madison Capitols by the score of 5-3. Tommy Spencer opened the scoring for Omaha just a little less than 6 minutes into the second period. Spencer found himself on an odd-man rush before wristing it far blocker-side on Madison netminder Elliot Lennon to tie the game up at one goal aside. Lancers Fall in Season Opener

September 19, 2026 - The Chicago Steel netted 4 goals in the middle frame to help spoil Omaha's season opener by the score of 6-3 in the 2026 Fall Classic Saturday night. Yegor Kim scored the first Lancers' goal of the 2026-27 season just over three minutes into the opening frame to knot the game up at one goal apiece. Kim received a backhand feed from Artem Prima in the neutral zone before using his deceptive speed to go on a breakaway and beat Chicago netminder Stepan Houdek blocker-side. September 13, 2026 - The Omaha Lancers concluded the 2026 preseason Friday night in Lincoln, Nebraska. The Lancers completed their home-and-home stand with their archrival Lincoln Stars at the Ice Box, where the Lancers avenged their 5-4 loss Thursday night after rallying past the Stars in a 4-3 shootout victory Friday night.
