Lancers' Skog Commits to American International College

May 6, 2016 - Ralston, NE - Omaha Lancers goaltender Zackarias Skog announced that he has committed to continue his career between the pipes at American International College in 2016-2017. Skog becomes the 20th member of this year's end-of-season roster to be committed. "It feels great," said Skog. "I'm really excited for this new challenge for me, and with their new coach. Lancers Select 29 in 2016 USHL Draft

May 3, 2016 - Ralston, NE - The Omaha Lancers selected 29 players over a two-day span during the 2016 USHL Draft that ended Tuesday afternoon. Overall, the Lancers added 18 forwards, 10 defensemen, and one goaltender. After signing Emilio Pettersen and Jack Randl to tender deals prior to the USHL Draft, Omaha's first pick in Phase I came in the third round, 35th overall. Jack Randl Inks Tender with Lancers

April 27, 2016 - Ralston, NE - The Omaha Lancers, members of the United States Hockey League announced today they have signed forward Jack Randl to a tender for the 2016-2017 season. Randl becomes the second tendered player for the Lancers' upcoming season. Thatcher Demko Signs Entry-Level Deal with Vancouver Canucks

April 21, 2016 - Ralston, NE - Former Omaha Lancers goaltender Thatcher Demko has signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Vancouver Canucks. Following the 2011-2012 season in Omaha, Demko spent three years at Boston College. The 20-year-old completed his junior year with Boston College, helping the Eagles win Hockey East's regular season championship and advance all the way to the NCAA Frozen Four in Tampa, Florida.
