April 15, 2026 - Former Omaha Lancer Hunter McDonald skated in his first NHL game Tuesday night and picked up an assist in the Philadelphia Flyers' 4-2 win over the Montreal Canadiens.
McDonald earned the game's third star by recording an assist on the Flyers' second goal of the night. His teammate and fellow former Lancer, Alex Bump, scored Philadelphia's final goal.

April 14, 2026 - The Omaha Lancers announced Friday that they have signed Jimmy Dodig to a tender agreement for the 2026-27 season.
Dodig, 19, recorded 23 points (10+13) over 56 games with the Bismarck Bobcats in the 2025-26 North American Hockey League regular season. He is a 6-foot-6 defenseman who weighs 210 pounds and scored the second-most goals among Bismarck defensemen.

April 4, 2026 - The Omaha Lancers concluded their 2025-26 season with a to the Lincoln Stars on Saturday night at the Ice Box.
Lefty Markonidis recorded a hat trick in his final game as a Lancer with a pair of tallies in an action-packed second period and then the eventual game-winner in the third.

April 3, 2026 - The Omaha Lancers overcame two different deficits but fell to the Sioux City Musketeers, 4-3, on Friday night at Liberty First Credit Union Arena.
Ashton Schultz scored twice to help Sioux City (30-29-3-2) lock up third place in the Western Conference ahead of the Clark Cup Playoffs next weekend. The Musketeers never trailed Friday night and swept the four-game head-to-head season series.
Brock Cheslock recorded his first multi-point game for Omaha (18-37-3-2) with a goal and an assist.
