Lancers Acquire Hyles from Cedar Rapids

September 15, 2025 - The Omaha Lancers announced on Monday the addition of forward Kole Hyles from the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders. The Lancers are sending a 2026 Phase II 6th Round draft pick to the RoughRiders in exchange. Hyles is appearing in his second USHL season in 2025-26. He recorded 15 points (8+7) in 59 games with the RoughRiders last season. "Kole brings more league experience to our lineup," Lancers general manager Marc Fritsche said. Lancers Showcase Resiliency in Final Three Preseason Games

September 13, 2025 - The Omaha Lancers concluded the 2025-26 preseason with a 1-2-2 record and will open up the regular season Thursday and Friday at the DICK'S Sporting Goods USHL Fall Classic in Pittsburgh. The Lancers played four different one-goal games in the preseason, including each of their final three games. Omaha overcame three different deficits and forced overtime in two different games this week with overtimes losses to Sioux City and Lincoln along with a regulation loss to the Stars. September 9, 2025 - The Lancers: The Omaha Lancers split the opening weekend of the pre-season... The Lancers won in dramatic fashion in their first matchup Friday against the Sioux Falls Stampede as Omaha rallied past the 'Herd to beat them in OT by the score of 7-6...
