Wednesday's Series Finale against Winston-Salem Postponed

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wednesday's series finale between the Myrtle Beach Pelicans and Winston-Salem Dash has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader when the Pelicans visit Winston-Salem on Tuesday, August 21, at 5 p.m.

Following a day off on Thursday, the Pelicans return home for a three-game series with the Wilmington Blue Rocks. The set begins with a 7:05 p.m. first pitch. Coverage begins at 6:50 p.m. on MiLB.tv, MyrtleBeachPelicans.com/Broadcast, the MiLB First Pitch app and TuneIn.

Friday is Thirsty Friday with $1 Bud and Bud Light drafts, $2 16 oz. cans and half-off Duplin Wine from 6-8 p.m. Additionally, it is Bark at the Park in which dogs receive free admission to the game with a Budweiser Thirst Inning Deck ticket. All dogs and owners can participate in a pregame parade. Lowes Foods presents Beers, Brats and Baseball as well, featuring $2 drafts from 6-8 p.m. and buy-one, get-one free sausages. On a First Reponders Friday, first responders can also recieve half-off tickets courtesy of 707 Shooting Range, WMBF News and Goldfinch, Winslow Attorneys and Counselors at Law.
