Texas Copperheads defensive back James Todd was noticed as a co-defensive player of week 11 by the Arena Football 2 league office.
Todd (6-0, 180, Baylor) had a stellar night defensively in Week 11 for Texas in the team's 47-35 road win at Rio Grande Valley. The rookie from Baylor was a big reason behind the Copperheads' earning their first road win in team history. Todd recorded 6.5 total tackles (6 solo, 1 asst), two pass breakups with three interceptions (Week 11 high) and 63 interception return yards. This is the first weekly af2 award of his career. Todd leads the team in tackles (48.5) and passes defended (18) and is tied for the team lead in interceptions (5).
