
Series Rained out in Daytona

DAYTONA BEACH, FL - The Daytona Tortugas and Bradenton Marauders were rained out once again at Radiology Associates Field at Jackie Robinson Ballpark Thursday night. The entire three game series was rained out, as Daytona endured four consecutive rainouts at home for the first time in over nine years. These games will not be made up, as the two teams won't meet again in the first half.
The Tortugas will now hit the road for a weekend series in Lakeland with the second-place Flying Tigers. Daytona will be back home Monday-Friday for their next homestead, as they welcome in the Clearwater Threshers for the first time. The series will be begin with a Belly Buster Monday at 7:05 PM Monday night at The Jack.
Fans with tickets for any of the rained-out games this week can use those tickets for any future home game in 2018.
Coverage Friday will begin with the Metcare Pregame Show at 4:50 PM on AM 1230, AM 1490 and FM 106.9, prior to first pitch at 5 PM for the doubleheader.
