LAST GAME RECAP: In their first meeting of the season, Reading defeated Binghamton 5-2 utilizing a walk-off home run from Cornelius Randolph. His three-run shot off of David Roseboom in the bottom of the ninth capped a series-opener that saw all seven runs in the game scored in the final three innings. Levi Michael, Andres Gimenez, and Joey Terdoslavich each had multi-hit games, accounting for six of Binghamton's seven hits.

BINGHAMTON STARTER: RHP Justin Dunn makes his 11th Eastern League start of the season and first against Reading. For the second time since being called up from St. Lucie (High-A), Dunn has suffered back-to-back losing starts. This comes on the heels of four straight winning starts. The first-rounder was defeated on August 4 against Harrisburg despite giving up just one run in six innings.

ANDRES THE GIANT: Andres Gimenez picked up two hits in Friday's loss, extending his hitting streak to seven games. Since August 2, the 19-year-old is hitting .423 (11-for-26) with five doubles, 3 RBI, and a stolen base.

FRANKLYN KKKKKKKKKKILOME: Last night, Franklyn Kilome finished his 6.2 innings with 10 strikeouts, one shy of his career high (11 K - August 9, 2016 with Lakewood).

FIVE FOR FIGHTING: Only once in the last nine games has a Rumble Ponies starter failed to last at least five innings.

WALK-OFF WOES: The Rumble Ponies suffered their ninth walk-off defeat on Friday and third via the home run ball. Bryan Reynolds last used the long ball to walk off versus Binghamton on July 26 at Altoona.

BE LIKE MIKE: Levi Michael recorded his second multi-hit game of the road trip (2-for-3) on Friday. He leads the Rumble Ponies with 33 multi-hit efforts this season.

TAYLOR-ed APPROACH: Corey Taylor tossed a scoreless eighth inning on Friday, his fifth straight scoreless outing. Taylor has allowed a run in just one of his last 15 appearances, spanning 20.0 innings.

MINUTE MARGINS: Binghamton has played in 12 straight games decided by five runs or fewer. In four of the last five, the losing team has scored one or fewer runs.

PHILS FIGHT BACK: Reading's series-opening victory on Friday was their first against Binghamton since June 17, 2017. Last season, the Rumble Ponies owned a 6-1 mark against the Fightin Phils, including a post All-Star break four-game sweep in Reading.

UP NEXT: The Rumble Ponies battle the Fightin Phils for the final time at FirstEnergy Stadium on Sunday evening. RHP Kevin McGowan duels RHP Ranfi Casimiro with first pitch at 5:15 PM
