Musketeers Acquire Dodd in Trade with Saints

The Musketeers picked up forward Trey Dodd from Dubuque in a trade that gives Dubuque Sioux City's Phase 2 6th round draft pick in the 2016 USHL Draft. The transaction also includes future considerations to the Musketeers from Dubuque.

Trey played in 67 games with the Fighting Saints, scoring 12 goals and 16 assists. He was drafted in the 3rd round, 46th overall by Fargo in Phase 1 of the 2014 USHL Draft. He was picked up by the Saints from the NAHL's Austin Bruins. He's committed to play collegiately at Brown University beginning next season.

Trey is the son of former Musketeer Rick Dodd, who played on the 1985-1986 Musketeers Team that won the USHL Playoff and League Championships under head coach Bob Ferguson. The elder Dodd played in 46 games, scoring 19 goals, 17 assists good for 36 points to go along with 133 penalty minutes.
