Monday's Series Opener in Myrtle Beach Postponed

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Monday's series opener between the Myrtle Beach Pelicans and Buies Creek Astros has been postponed due to impending inclement weather. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Tuesday, with gates opening at 4:30 p.m. for a 5:05 p.m. first pitch. The finale will start approximately 30 minutes after the finale of game one, and no sooner than 7:05 p.m.

Fans can exchange tickets from Monday's game for any remaining regular season Pelicans game this year or in the future.

The Pelicans will be playing in their eighth doubleheader of the season in Monday's twin bill. The Birds are 5-8 so far in doubleheader contests this season.

Both contests of Tuesday's doubleheader will be seven innings in length. Coverage begins at 4:50 p.m. on MiLB.tv, MyrtleBeachPelicans.com/Broadcast, the MiLB First Pitch app and TuneIn.
