OAKLAND, Calif. - The Golden State Warriors have recalled forward Kevon Looney from the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA Development League, the team announced today.
During his most recent assignment, which began March 2, Looney averaged 9.7 points and 7.3 rebounds in 20.0 minutes over three games with the Warriors' D-League affiliate, grabbing a team-high 10 rebounds in a season-high 23 minutes on March 4 at Oklahoma City. The UCLA product has appeared in 10 games with Santa Cruz this season, holding averages of 9.5 points and 8.0 rebounds in 19.2 minutes.
