Brewers announce several roster moves affecting the Carolina Mudcats

ZEBULON, N.C. - The Milwaukee Brewers announced a series of roster transactions today with six affecting the Carolina Mudcats active roster. The moves included transfer of both RHP Braden Webb and RHP Conor Harber from Carolina to Double-A Biloxi, the placement of INF Pat McInerney on the disabled list retroactive to August 6 and the transfer for RHP Rodrigo Benoit, RHP Bowden Francis and RHP Christian Taugner from Low-A Wisconsin to the Mudcats today.

The Mudcats roster is currently at 25 active players with four on the disabled list.

8/8: INF Pat McInerney placed on disabled list (retro to 8/6)

8/8: RHP Rodrigo Benoit transferred from Low-A Wisconsin to Carolina

8/8: RHP Bowden Francis transferred from Low-A Wisconsin to Carolina

8/8: RHP Christian Taugner transferred from Low-A Wisconsin to Carolina

The most recent roster is attached. Benoit will wear jersey No. 24, Francis will wear jersey No. 28 and Taugner will wear jersey No. 15.

The Carolina Mudcats are the proud Carolina League, Class-A Advanced affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. First established in 1991, the two-time Southern League Champion Mudcats are entering their 28th consecutive season of baseball at Five County Stadium in Zebulon, N.C. The 2018 season marks the first for the Mudcats under the ownership of the Milwaukee Brewers organization.
