AUSTIN, TEXAS, April 11, 2015 - The Bakersfield Jam fell to the Austin Spurs, 98-86, in Game Two of the Western Conference Semifinals. The series is tied at 1-1.
Casey Prather carried the Jam in the opening frame with 12 points, but Austin held a 30-23 advantage after one. The Spurs stretched their lead to 14 points in the second quarter and went into the half with a 55-43 lead.
Momentum stayed on Austin's side in the second half, as they led by as many as 24 points in the third. The Jam outscored the Spurs 24-17 in the final frame, but it wasn't enough to overcome their deficit.
The Jam were paced by Casey Prather (21 points) and Xavier Munford (19 points). Mac Koshwal recorded a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds and Jamil Wilson tallied 11 points and six rebounds.
Orlando Johnson led the Spurs with a game-high 29 points, to go along with seven assists and five rebounds. Mouhamed Sene had 19 points and nine rebounds, while San Antonio Spurs assignee Kyle Anderson finished with 15 points points, seven rebounds and five assists.
A decisive Game 3 will be played tomorrow in Austin at 11:00 a.m. PT. The game will air LIVE on ESPNews.
