Des Moines, Iowa. - The Iowa Energy has acquire d and activated Hassan Whiteside, the team announced today. Whiteside (7-0, 275) recorded 3.4 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.00 blocks on .500 shooting in 8.2 minutes in five preseason contests. Whiteside is available to play in tonight's game in Reno.
