Wolves Sign Nagy to Deal

The Chicago Wolves announced Friday that they have signed forward GERGO NAGY to a standard player contract (SPC) and assigned him to Quad City of the Central Hockey League.

The 24-year-old Dunaujvaros, Hungary, native appeared in one game for the Wolves during a tryout contract (PTO) and took three shots in Chicago's 4-0 home victory over Iowa on March 2.

The 6-foot-3, 202-pound NAGY has spent most of this season in Quad City, where he has contributed 17 goals, 29 assists and a +13 plus/minus rating in 53 games this season. His 46 points rank second on the Mallards and he stands third in goals and plus/minus rating during his first season in North America.

In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal are not being disclosed.

The Chicago Wolves debut their St. Patrick's Day specialty jerseys this weekend as they host the Western Conference-leading Texas Stars at 7 p.m.
