
Stamps and Sewell Named CFL All-Stars

(Edmonton) - Edmonton Eskimos slotback Fred Stamps and defensive tackle Almondo Sewell have been named to the 2013 Canadian Football League All-Star Team.
Stamps led the league this season with 1,259 receiving yards. His career-high 11 touchdowns also ranks tops among league receivers. In Week 14, he recorded his fifth consecutive 1,000-yard season against the Toronto Argonauts on a 35-yard reception. This marks Stamps's fourth CFL All-Star nod.
Sewell recorded 39 defensive tackles, eight sacks, one pass knockdown and one fumble recovery this season. This is Sewell's first All-Star nod.
CFL All-Stars are selected for outstanding performance by head coaches and members of the Football Reporters of Canada.
