Rattlers Outfielder Tyrone Taylor Wins MWL Player of the Week

GRAND CHUTE, WI - Wisconsin Timber Rattlers outfielder Tyrone Taylor had a great week last week and people noticed. The Midwest League has honored Taylor as its Player of the Week.

Taylor, the 2nd round pick of the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2012 draft, went 12-for-23 last week with a homer, a triple, three doubles, and three RBI. Taylor also drew four walks, stole a base, and scored six runs for the Timber Rattlers.

He is the first Timber Rattler to win the Player of the Week award this season. The last Rattler to win Player of the Week in the league was Greg Hopkins on May 8, 2012.
