TinCaps Announce Roster Moves

The Fort Wayne TinCaps, in conjunction with the San Diego Padres, announced the following roster moves, Monday, June 10th:

Infielder Stephen Carmon placed on the disabled list, retroactive to Sunday, June 9. Carmon, 23, is hitting .253 with one home run and 14 runs batted in over 50 games. Carmon was selected by San Diego in the 10th round of the 2012 draft out of the University of South Carolina-Aiken.

Infielder Felix Cabrera transferred from Short-Season A Eugene to Fort Wayne. Cabrera, 23, opened the season on the Fort Wayne roster, and was transferred to extended spring training May 9 when Walker Weickel was added to the TinCaps roster. In four games with Fort Wayne this season, Cabrera hit 2-for-13 (.154) with no home runs and no runs batted in. During the 2012 season, Cabrera played in 18 games with Fort Wayne, hitting .209 (4-43) with one home run and four runs batted in.

The Fort Wayne roster currently stands at 25 players, with five players on the disabled list.
