Fort Wayne, IN - The Fort Wayne TinCaps, in conjunction with the San Diego Padres, announced the following roster moves today:

RHP Erik Cabrera, RHP Genison Reyes and INF Felix Cabrera transferred from Fort Wayne to extended spring traning.

RHP Michael Kelly and Matthew Chabot transferred from extended spring training to Fort Wayne.

OF Mallex Smith reinstated from the disabled list.

Erik Cabrera, 22, appeared in nine games with Fort Wayne this season, going 0-3 with a 10.35 ERA. In his three starts, he went 0-2 with a 10.50 ERA. In total, he pitched 20 innings, walking 15 and striking out 14.

Reyes, 21, was 3-1 with a 7.07 ERA in 13 appearances, all in relief. In his 14 innings, he walked 15 and struck out five.

Felix Cabrera, 23, played in four games with Fort Wayne, going 2-13 (.154) at the plate. He walked three times and struck out four times.

Kelly, 20, was on Fort Wayne's opening day roster in 2012. With Fort Wayne last season, the Boynton Beach, Florida, native had an 0-2 record and a 7.53 ERA. In seven relief appearances, he worked 14 1/3 innings, surrendering 12 earned runs, walking 18 and striking out 14. Kelly was selected in the supplemental first round (48th overall) of the 2011 draft. His addition to the roster gives the Fort Wayne pitching staff five players selected either in the first or supplemental first-round of the draft within the last two years.

Chabot, 21, was selected by San Diego in the 21st round of the 2012 draft from Riverside (CA) Community College. He pitched last year with the rookie-level Eugene Emeralds, going 0-0 with a 2.17 ERA in 25 relief appearances. In 29 innings, he fanned 23 and walked 11. The righthander has also pitched one game with Advanced-A Lake Elsinore this season, working 2 1/3 innings.

Smith, 20, had been on Fort Wayne's disabled list since May 1st. The native of Tallahassee, Florida, has played in 20 games, and was hitting .284 with one home run and six runs batted in prior to his injury. Smith's nine stolen bases are second-most on the team.

The Fort Wayne roster stands at the Midwest League limit of 25 players.
