(EVANSVILLE, INDIANA) - The Evansville Otters are excited to announce plans for Fifth Third Bank Opening Day on Friday, May 17 at Historic Bosse Field.

The Otters and Fifth Third Bank will be holding a news conference on Monday, May 13 at 2 pm to discuss all the festivities, including a chance for one fan to win an incredible cash prize.

"Fifth Third Bank is proud to be returning once again this year as the Opening Night Sponsor for the Evansville Otters - a true summer tradition in the Tri-State," says Shelley Kirk, Fifth Third Bank Marketing Director. "We're even more excited to be offering the chance for one lucky fan to take home $53,000! That and an Otters win would make it a perfect night to start the season."

Also new this opening night: the Fifth Third Bank Gift Card Giveaway! $53 gift cards will be randomly given out throughout the game with a final award of $253 at the end of the game!

Fifth Third is bringing back a crowd favorite by giving out 2500 magnets showing the Evansville Otter's summer game schedule.

"Fifth Third Bank has been an incredible sponsor of Otters Opening Day for the past 14 years," said Bill Bussing, President of the Evansville Otters. "Our fans will be treated to another spectacular evening at the ballpark."

First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 pm CDT and the night is expected to be one of the most exciting and fun-filled evenings at Bosse Field this year.
