Orlando Solar Bears News Release
Orlando, FL - The Orlando Solar Bears announced today that Scott Einhorn has been promoted to Vice President of Ticket Sales and Service, Chris Heller has been promoted to Chief Financial and Legal Officer, and Carrie Sullivan has been promoted to Vice President of Group Sales and Community Relations.
Scott Einhorn began his career at Binghamton University where he proved to be a loyal and dedicated worker as he moved up the ranks within the Athletic Department working as the school's mascot, a Sports Marketing Intern, and then in his third year as a Graduate Assistant. Einhorn interned over summers for the Hudson Valley Renegades as the Assistant Marketing Director overseeing pre-game set-up, ceremonial first pitches, and sponsorship activation. From there, Einhorn moved on to work at ESPN Radio, working major events such as Belmont Stakes, "Lunch with Alexi Lalas," Jets' training camp, and press conferences at Madison Square Garden. Upon graduation in May, 2011 he began working with the New York Islanders Hockey Club as a Sales Executive. Einhorn has been with the Solar Bears since November, 2011. A native of Warwick, NY, Einhorn graduated Magna Cum Laude from Binghamton University in 2010 and in 2011 he received his MBA from Binghamton. Einhorn currently resides in Orlando, FL.
Chris Heller began his tenure with the Solar Bears in November of 2011. He
previously worked as an attorney in Wheeling, WV, for the past seven years. Heller earned his law degree at the West Verginia University College of Law in May of 2004. Originally hailing from Wheeling, WV, Heller earned a B.A. in Accounting in 1998 from Bethany College in West Virginia. Heller worked as an accountant in Columbus, OH, and Pittsburgh, PA, for CroweChizek and PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1998 until 2001. Heller and his wife Natalie reside in Winter Garden, FL, with their three children Sophia, Maddox, and Emerson.
Carrie Sullivan joined the Orlando Solar Bears organization in February, 2012. She spent the previous five years at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in New Jersey where she quickly climbed through the ranks to lead a team of over 100 staff and volunteers toward raising significant funds to find cures for blood cancers. Originally from Philadelphia, PA, Sullivan graduated from Rutgers University, the State College of New Jersey in 2006, before pursuing a career that focuses on giving back to those in need. Sullivan currently resides in Altamonte Springs, FL.
The Orlando Solar Bears, the ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Minnesota Wild and AHL's Houston Aeros, play all of their home games at the 2012 Street and Smith's Sports Business Journal Sports Facility of the Year, the Amway Center.
