Swift Current, SK - After 60 minutes of scoreless action, the Calgary Hitmen and Swift Current Broncos headed into overtime for the third time in the best-of-seven series, setting a franchise record for most overtime games in a single playoff series.
Victor Rask scored the game-winning goal less than a minute into the extra frame, extending his point streak to four consecutive post-season games. Elliott Peterson and Brooks Macek, who also has points in four straight contests, each picked up an assist.
Chris Driedger made 28 saves to record his first career WHL post-season shutout as the Hitmen take a 3-1 lead in the series.
Calgary will now return to the Scotiabank Saddledome for Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Quarter-Final on Thursday, March 28 at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster locations and the Scotiabank Saddledome box office for as low as $18 for adults and $12 for children (plus GST and SFPFF).
