* The Barrie Colts lead the Kingston Frontenacs 2-0 in the best of seven series with wins in games 1 and 2 in Barrie

* Game 1 Recap:

* The Colts defeated the Frontenacs 3-1

* The Colts are heavily favoured to win the series after finishing 2nd in the Eastern Conference. The Frontenacs are the underdogs after finishing 7th.

* The Kingston Frontenacs and Barrie Colts were separated by 32 points in the regular season which came to a close on March 17, 2013.

* After 68 games the Frontenacs finished with a record of 27 wins, 35 losses, 3 overtime losses and 3 shootout losses for 60 points, and 7th place in the Eastern Conference.
