D.C. United Official Bar Partner "March to March 9 Trophy Tour" Set for February 23 - March 8

Washington, D.C. (February 20, 2013) - D.C. United today announced that its Official Bar Partner "March to March 9 Trophy Tour" will begin Saturday, Feb. 23 and last through Friday, March 8, ending the day before the home opener against Real Salt Lake on Saturday, March 9 at 7 p.m. EST.
In conjunction with the club's "March to March 9" campaign, D.C. United will bring the trophies from its four Major League Soccer (MLS) Championships out of the trophy case for two weeks of celebration leading up to the Black-and-Red's home opener on March 9. United is the most decorated team in the nation's capital, with MLS Cup trophies from 1996, 1997, 1999 and 2004, and is tied with the LA Galaxy for most League championships (4) in MLS. The trophies will be on display in each of the Black-and-Red's official bar partners in the D.C. Metropolitan Area and beyond. This trophy tour provides a unique and rare opportunity for United supporters to take pictures with the championship trophies from United's storied past, while also learning more about the fast-approaching 2013 season.
