San Antonio Rampage News Release
SAN ANTONIO (January 31, 2013) - The San Antonio Rampage are expecting a sell-out crowd this Friday at 7:30 p.m. for their third annual Pink in the Rink Night, presented by Cancer Therapy & Research Center. Fewer than 1,000 tickets remain for the game, which will feature the Rampage skating on pink ice and raising money for breast health awareness.
Last season the Rampage sold-out the AT&T Center for the first time in franchise history, as more than 16,000 fans watched the Silver and Black skate on pink ice in support of a great cause.
The Rampage will wear pink-themed jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game. A portion of the proceeds will benefit breast health awareness. In two years, Pink in the Rink has raised nearly $75,000 to help in the fight against breast cancer.
In addition, the Rampage will host a Happy Hour tonight (Thursday) at Rosario's Restaurant y Cantina from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Hockey fans are invited to join Rampage players and staff for a happy hour with 10 percent of all food and drink sales donated to support breast health awareness.
Friday's game will be televised on FOX Sports Southwest with Rampage play-by-play broadcaster Dan Weiss and Spurs television host and in-game reporter Andrew Monaco calling the action live from the AT&T Center.
Like all Friday night Rampage games, the Pink in the Rink game will feature a KZEP Dollar Drink Night where fans can get draft beer or fountain soda for only $1.
Get your tickets before they run out and help support a great cause. Tickets start at $6 and can be purchased by calling a Rampage representative at 210.444.5554 or by logging on to sarampage.com.
