Upcoming Slate

To finish this weekend, Trenton heads to Georgia on the 9th to face the Gladiators. It's the only time this year that the Titans will play in SC/GA. South Carolina goes to Greenville on Sunday at 4 pm. They return home to host the Road Warriors on Tuesday at 7:05 pm.

DID YOU KNOW?

Trenton is 2-0-0-1 on the road when leading after one period; it is 0-5 on the road when trailing after the first 20 minutes.

Trenton leads the league in Road SHG with 5, and overall with 6 (tied with Alaska and Idaho)

South Carolina has allowed more goals per game (2.79, ranked 7th), then it has scored (2.67, ranked 17th), yet if the season ended today, the Stingrays would still get the seventh seed in the Eastern playoffs.

Trenton busy with roster moves

New faces and tough choices

It was a busy few days for the Titans and their front office.

The toughest move was to let go of captain and local product Ray DiLauro. It's never easy to let go of a 12-year vet, especially one that is liked by many.

But the changes didn't stop there, as the front office looked to fill a scoring need by acquiring Jacob Cepis in a trade from Idaho. Then the Titans' parent club helped add to the moves after recalling defenseman Matt Konan back to Adirondack (AHL).

But the Phantoms didn't just receive, they gave back as well in the form of forward Matt Mangene (on loan). Mangene will see his first action since sustaining an upper body injury in Syracuse on October 28.

Finally - on this Day of Infamy - a patriot will see his first action since Chicago at the end of last year, as 2nd Lt. Marcel Alvarez (West Point '12) has graced us again with his defensive presence. He had 2 PIM and no points in three games last year, but did get his first pro goal in the preseason in Reading this year.
