Lethbridge Hurricanes News Release

Lethbridge, AB - It's a battle of two of the top teams in the Eastern Conference Friday night at the ENMAX Centre when the Lethbridge Hurricanes host another one of the WHL's top teams, the Prince Albert Raiders at 7:00pm.

The Raiders have surprised many this season and have even been ranked in the CHL's Top Ten three times so far, but heading into Friday's game with the Hurricanes the two teams are deadlocked at 28 points each. Prince Albert is 2nd in the Conference with a record of 13-6-0-2, while the "Cane Train" is 4th with a record of 13-8-1-1.

In their first meeting of the season on October 9th, the Raiders skated away with a 4-1 win at the ENMAX Centre, but since that game the Hurricanes have been among the league's elite - 7-2-0-1 in their last 10 games and their record among the East Division is 8-4 this season.

When it comes to special teams, the powerplay for both is nearly even clicking at 16%, but the Canes penalty kill at home ranks top 15 in the league at 79.4% (13/63) while the Raiders powerplay on the road is 9th overall at 22.5% (9/40)

The Hurricanes encourage all their fans to "Get Caught in the Storm" this weekend as two of the top teams in the East go head to head in an epic battle. To purchase your game tickets online go to www.enmaxcentre.ca or call the ENMAX Ticket Centre at (403) 329-SEAT.
