Knights Name Harrington Captain

LONDON, ONTARIO: The London Knights Hockey Club announced today that the team has named defenseman Scott Harrington as Captain of the 2012-2013 London Knights. Harrington, 19, is entering his 4th season in the Ontario Hockey League and served as an Assistant Captain of the London Knights last season. A Knights 1st round draft pick in the 2008 OHL Priority Selection and a 2nd round draft pick (54th Overall) of the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, Harrington takes over from 2011-2012 Team Captain Jarred Tinordi.The London Knights also named defenseman Tommy Hughes, Olli Maatta and forward Seth Griffith as Alternate Captains for the team. All four will have letters on their jerseys when the puck drops tomorrow night for the 2012-2013 Home Opener at the Budweiser Gardens. The Erie Otters come to town to take on the London Knights with doors opening at 6:00pm and opening ceremonies beginning at 7:30pm.
