Adam Hobson Back with Walleye: Forward Played for Toledo in 2009-10

(Toledo, OH) - Forward Adam Hobson has agreed to terms with the Toledo Walleye for the 2012-13 season.

Hobson rejoins the Walleye, where he spent part of the 2009-10 season, his last in North America. Adam has played his last two years overseas playing Division One hockey in Sweden. He appeared in 39 games with Toledo in 2009-10, scoring 18 goals with 26 assists.

"Adam has played a lot of great hockey in excellent leagues," said Head Coach Nick Vitucci. "We remember how strong he was with us in our first year as a playmaker and scorer. He is also a former Captain is his career with great leadership skills."

The Mission, BC native was originally selected by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 7th round of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. Adam played his entire Junior Career with the Spokane Chiefs of the WHL. He was Chiefs team MVP in 2006 and was Captain of the 2006-07 team.

Hobson turned professional in 2007 and has appeared in 97 games at the AHL level, all with Toledo Affiliate the Rockford IceHogs. He has 8 goals and 17 assists in the AHL. In 270 total professional games, Adam has collected 133 points (48g, 85a).
