Trenton Titans News Release

TRENTON, NJ - The Trenton Titans, members of the ECHL and proud affiliate of the National Hockey League's Philadelphia Flyers, have announced the signing of left-winger Andrew Conboy.

Conboy (6-4/200/Shoots L), has basically exploded onto the professional hockey scene after just one season with Michigan State. After the 2008-09 campaign with the Spartans, the Burnsville, MN, product jumped right into the AHL Hamilton Bulldogs' roster for 15 games, gathering an assist and six PIMs. He even played in the post season for the Bulldogs.

"Andrew is a big, strong power forward that plays with energy and brings an element of grit and toughness," said Titans' Head Coach Vince Williams. "His AHL experience will also bring leadership to our lineup."

A fifth round (142nd overall) selection by Montreal in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, Conboy has played his entire four-year professional career in the AHL with Hamilton, totaling 38 points (22 G, 16 A) and 217 PIMs in 157 games. He also has appeared in 40 playoff contests for the Bulldogs (2 G, 5 A).

The Trenton Titans returned in the 2011-12 hockey season after a five year hiatus and boasted a 26.1% increase in attendance over the previous year, the largest of any team in the 20-team ECHL. Opening Night for the 2012-13 season is October 12 at home against the Greenville Road Warriors.
