SPRINGDALE, AR - A pair of Former Naturals were honored this week as postseason All-Stars at the Triple-A level. Wil Myers earned the honor in the Pacific Coast League and Ernesto Mejia in the International League.

Myers began the 2012 season in Northwest Arkansas, where he hit .343 with 13 home runs and 30 RBI in just 35 games before being promoted to Triple-A Omaha. The outfielder did not miss a beat after being promoted to Triple-A.

The right-handed hitter helped the StormChasers to a Northern Division title and hit .294 with 22 home runs and 94 RBI in Omaha in 93 games. Myers leads the StormChasers in both home runs and RBI, despite playing the first 35 games of the season in Double-A.

Mejia played for the Naturals during their Texas League Championship season in 2010, and spent the 2012 season with the Triple-A Gwinnett Braves. The first-baseman appeared in a team best 126 games for the Braves and was also named the Rookie of the Year in the International League.

Mejia is hitting .303 with 31 doubles, 24 home runs and 91 RBI in Gwinnett this season. He ranks sixth in the International League in hitting, second in home runs and leads the league in RBI, hits, and total bases.
