Near-Capacity Crowd Anticipated for Sunday's Timbers Reserve League Match

The Portland Timbers anticipate a near-capacity crowd at JELD-WEN Field on Sunday for the club's MLS Reserve League match between the Timbers Reserves and San Jose Earthquakes Reserves at 6 p.m. (Pacific).

The Timbers are expected to break their club record for single-game attendance for an MLS Reserve League match of 10,077 fans, which was established Aug. 21, 2011, for a match between the Timbers Reserves and Vancouver Whitecaps FC Reserves at JELD-WEN Field.

WHEN: Sunday, Aug. 26, 6 p.m. (Pacific).

WHERE: JELD-WEN Field; 1844 SW Morrison St., Portland.

ABOUT TIMBERS RESERVES The Timbers Reserves compete in the MLS Reserve League and play a 10-match season that runs concurrent with the MLS regular season. Unbeaten in their last two matches, the Timbers Reserves are currently 3-3-1 (10pts) and sit three points behind the LA Galaxy Reserves for the top spot in the MLS Reserve League's West Division.
