Captains and Silver Hawks Postponed
August 13, 2012 - Midwest League (MWL) Lake County Captains
(South Bend, IN) - The Lake County Captains (26-23, 57-61) and the South Bend Silver Hawks (25-24, 60-59) ballgame was postponed due to rain.The Captains don't visit South Bend any more during the regular season, but the Silver Hawks visit Classic Park August 22-24. The game will be made up as part of a double header during that series.
Lake County will be off on Tuesday. The Captains will travel to Dayton, Ohio on Wednesday to take on the Dragons. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 PM. Lake County will start LHP Shawn Morimando (5-4, 3.73) and he will take on RHP Jacob Johnson (1-4, 5.32) of the Dayton Dragons. This is the opening game of a three game set.
