Greenville Drive News Release
Savannah, GA - Thursday's regularly scheduled South Atlantic League match-up between the Drive and Savannah Sand Gnats at Grayson Stadium was postponed by rain in the bottom of the first inning. The game has been rescheduled for Friday as part of a double-header.
Game one will be the completion of Thursday's game, beginning at 5:15 PM, while game two will begin approximately 30 minutes after the completion of the first tilt. But games will be seven-inning affairs.
The Drive return home on Monday, August 13th for a three-game series versus the first place Rome Braves. Greenville Hospital System's Centennial Celebration, in which they are "buying out the ballpark" for the Upstate community, kicks off the short home stint.
