Baysox Host Bordeleau Wine Pairing

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce today the Bordeleau Wine Pairing Dinner at Prince George's Stadium, Sunday, August 26, as the Baysox take on the Harrisburg Senators at 2:05 p.m. The event includes suite seating for the game, small plate food sampling and five 4-ounce tastings of offered Bordeleau wines.

Stadium gates open at 12:30 p.m. and small plate food sampling is served from 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. The menu includes spinach salad with avocado & grilled squash paired with 2008 Barrel Fermented Chardonnay, chicken skewers with citrus sauce paired with 2009 Sauvignon Blanc, oven roasted salmon with mushrooms & goat cheese paired with 2007 Merlot, grilled tenderloin with peppered red wine sauce paired with 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon, fresh fruit & baked brie paired with Wicomico Blush.

Sundancer (off dry white blend), Chambourcin (dry red) and 2011 Pinot Grigio will also be available and there will be a cash bar for additional glasses beyond the first five 4-ounce tastings.

Tickets for the Bordeleau Wine Pairing Dinner are $44, or $39 for Baysox ticket plan holders. Tickets must be ordered by 3 p.m. Wednesday, August 22. For more information or to order tickets, fans may call Chris Brent at (301) 464-4885.

Sunday, August 26 is also Meet the Team Day and Fan Appreciation Day. The first 500 fans ages 13 and older will get a Baysox 20th anniversary T-shirt and their will be a player autograph session on the concourse from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m.
