Wisconsin Timber Rattlers News Release
Appleton - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (@TimberRattlers), in conjunction with Accelerated Innovations, today unveiled a major update to their current mobile web site rattlersingame.com. A key component to the update is a platform for all things social media, the first of its kind in professional baseball, also released earlier this summer by the NBA's Minnesota Timberwolves. The fully integrated social media platform marks a key milestone of the organization's digital efforts centered on connecting and engaging all types of @TimberRattlers fans.
Rattlersingame.com consolidates the buzz about the team -- all #tratnation, #rattlersingame, #timberrattlers tweets, mentions, Facebook posts, likes, photos, etc. -- into one fully integrated, user-friendly platform while allowing users to interact with each other and earn rewards for simply being a fan. Rattlersingame.com will still offer many of its original features including ordering concessions, submitting photos and earning points through, contests, trivia, etc.
"We partnered with Accelerated Innovations on the initial launch of rattlersingame.com at the start of the 2011 season - wrapping several interactive features up for our fans in a "Ëpalm of your hand' mobile technology experience for the first time. Today we're excited to re-launch rattlersingame.com with significant enhancements highlighted by this unprecedented user-friendly social interaction forum," said Angie Ceranski, Wisconsin Timber Rattlers Director of Marketing. "This update is a significant step in our quest for continuous improvement of the fan experience. We're improving the way our fans connect to the team, the game, their fellow fans and the experience of being at the game. We look forward to seeing how our fans respond to the new release."
Rattlersingame.com followers can take part in several fun, interactive and simple activities to earn points, bragging rights or badges -- all designed to reward fans for engaging in #tratnation conversation. Tweet, post or promote the #tratnation on any digital platform and you've earned yourself points. Daily contests and in-stadium activities will also serve as opportunities to elevate your status as the biggest #tratnation fan. Users will be able to redeem points for prizes and other offers exclusive to rattlersingame.com members.
"Fan Connection Network is a customizable platform that is focused on driving a team's overall sales, CRM and fan engagement initiatives," said Scott Ronay, Director of Strategy and Business Development for Accelerated Innovations. "Our focus with the rattlersingame.com initiative is to help the Timber Rattlers harness the power of social media to enhance the fan experience while driving significant, measureable business results to the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers' bottom line."
Fans can connect to rattlersingame.com via their Twitter or Facebook profiles, or simply create an additional login on the homepage. Rattlersingame.com is also available as an application in the Google Play Store made possible by U.S. Cellular. The site is compatible with all mobile devices, as well as all tablets, laptops and desktops.
