TODAY'S GAME: The Generals look for their 3rd straight win tonight against Huntsville. Jackson looks to win their 11th series tonight leading this 5-game set, 2-1. Jackson is 6-7 against the Brewers Double-A affiliate this season.

GENERALS RECAP: Starter Anthony Fernandez allowed 1-run in a 9-inning complete game in his Double-A debut as Jackson defeated Huntsville 5-1 on Saturday night. Fernandez (9.0,6,1,1,1,5) allowed a run in the 2nd inning, but only 4 hits over the final 7.0 innings to pick up his first Double-A win. It was the first 9-inning complete game for Jackson, since Nick Hill on August 10, 2009 at Carolina. DH Joe Dunigan (3x4, R, HR, RBI) hit his 13th home run, a 2-out 3-run home run in the 6th inning, and also led the team with season-high tying 3 hits. He has hit home run in back-to-back games, while also hitting 6 homers in last 13 games. 2B Stefen Romero (2x4, R, 3B, HR, 4 RBI) recorded his 3rd consecutive multi-hit game since his promotion from High Desert and knocked in 4 RBI, including a 3-run homer in 3rd inning.

HOW BOUT THE NEW GUY: INF Stefen Romero has recorded multi-hits in each of his first 3 games since his promotion from High Desert. During this stretch is batting .462 (6x13) with 2 runs scored, 2 doubles, 1 triple, 1 home run and 6 RBI.

HOMER'N JOE: Joe Duniganwon the Southern League Home Run Derby last Thursday in Kodak, TN. Lately games have been a Home Run Derby for Dunigan, now T-2nd in the SL with 14 home runs on the year. He has hit 6 homers in his last 13 games.

WHO'S HOT?: OF Chih-Hsien Chiang has hit safely in 6 of 7 games with 4 multi-hit contests, batting .300 (10x30) with 2 runs scored, 5 doubles and 8 RBI.

-> INF Eric Campbell has hit safely in 5 of his last 6 games, batting .348 (8x23) with 7 runs scored, 1 home run and 1 RBI.

-> RH Yoervis Medina extended his scoreless inning streak to 14.1 innings over his last 9 relief appearances (since May 25). During this stretch he has lowered his ERA from 7.83 to 4.82, while limiting opponents to a .167 (8x48) with 6 walks and 15 strikeouts.

HULTZEN STRUGLES IN TRIPLE-A DEBUT: Danny Hultzen (3.0,5,5,5,5,3,WP) struggled early and was dealt the loss in his Triple-A debut for Tacoma Saturday at Colorado Springs. Hultzen allowed 5 runs on 5 hits and issued 5 walks with 3 strikeouts over 3.0 innings.
