Montgomery Biscuits News Release
The Tampa Bay Rays have announced that RHP Alex Colome (oblique) has been reinstated from the disabled list. He takes the roster spot of RHP Zach Quate, who has been placed on the DL.
Colome, who will start tonight, hasn't appeared since injuring an oblique during his second start of the year back on April 11th. He's rated as the #5 prospect in the Rays system.
Quate made his season-debut on Wednesday. He served as the Biscuits' closer in 2011, registering 20 saves to finish second in that category in a single season in team history.
The Biscuits active roster is now at the league-max of 25 players.
