PAPILLION, Neb. - The first-place Omaha Storm Chasers will play host to the Tacoma Rainiers, the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners and the Salt Lake City Bees, the Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim for a total of eight games from May 17-24.
Thursday, May 17 (6:35 pm): Your Omaha Storm Chasers return to the winning confines of beautiful Werner Park where they are 15-1 on the season with a fourteen game winning streak, to face the Tacoma Rainiers. It's Thirsty Thursday(tm) presented by Icon Medical Research. Fans can enjoy dollar Bud Light draws, Busch Light cans & Pepsis. Friday, May 18 (7:05 pm): It is Friday night fireworks presented by American Family Insurance. If you haven't already done so, visit www.omahastormchasers.com, sign up to be the American Family Insurance Family of the Game, and you might be called as the winner of free tickets to the game, a first pitch, jersey, and the starter of the postgame fireworks. Also, it's Girl Scout Camp Out at Werner Park. Pre-registered girl scouts have the opportunity to spend the night on the field and earn a patch. Plus, local law enforcement will be out front of Werner Park to show off their cars, motorcycles, & boats. Saturday, May 19 (7:05 pm): Head out to Werner Park and do not forget your best friend. It's the fourth annual "Bark in the Park"; bring your dog to the ballpark presented by All Paws & Dogtopia. People tickets are $7 and dog tickets are $1 with all dog ticket proceeds from the evening benefitting a local rescue group. Plus, want to see your dog on Werner Park's video board? Sunday, May 20 (2:05 pm): Come out on U.S. Bank Family Fun Day and Huerter Orthodontics Lil' Chasers Club Day to enjoy clowns, face painters, & balloon artists presented by Fat Brain Toys, Omaha Storm Chasers baseball and free pre-game player autographs on the field in front of the Storm Chasers' dugout. Huerter Orthodontics Lil Chasers Club Members get in free and following the Rainiers and Storm Chasers game all kids get to run the bases with Stormy presented by Hardees. Also, it is Sam's Club canned food day. Everyone who brings a canned good gets a free McDonald's grass berm ticket. All items collected will benefit The Open Door Mission. Plus, it's "Why I Want to Go to College" Award Day presented by NEST. Help us honor twelve very deserving high school students. Monday, May 21 (6:35 pm): The Storm Chasers welcome the Salt Lake City Bees to Werner Park on Monday for game one of a four-game series. It's $1 Hebrew National Hot Dog night presented by Rotella's. Plus, it's a "Hit the Books" night sponsored by NEST. Special thanks to Rotellas, 89.7 The River and Nebraska Educational Savings Trust for Monday's promotions.
Tuesday, May 22 (6:35 pm): It's t-shirt time! QuikTrip & Pepsi present T-Shirt Tuesdays as the first 1,000 fans to enter Werner Park will receive a FREE Clint Robinson Home Jersey Tee. Special thanks to our friends at QuikTrip, Pepsi and Z-92.
Wednesday, May 23 (6:35 pm): Cannot get enough to eat? Wednesdays at Werner Park are new this year and feature All-You-Can-Eat seats. For $18 an adult and $10 a child, you can enjoy the best that Ovations has to offer as many times as you would like. Menus will change each Wednesday, but the taste will always be outstanding.
